Lead Superintendent
Andres Salermo is an accomplished construction professional with more than eight years of project management and field leadership experience in new residential construction. Over the course of his career, Andres has directed the construction and successful delivery of more than 500 homes, developing a reputation for disciplined project execution, strong subcontractor relationships, rigorous quality control, and an unwavering commitment to the homeowner experience.
Before joining Altus Construction Group, Andres held construction management and project management roles with some of the nation’s leading homebuilders, including Meritage Homes, Dream Finders Homes, and PulteGroup. Across these organizations, he managed hundreds of projects from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, budgets, inspections, quality control, and the day-to-day challenges that come with keeping active construction projects moving forward.
Throughout his career, Andres has demonstrated an ability to improve both construction efficiency and project outcomes. At PulteGroup, he helped reduce average construction timelines by 20–30%, completing homes in approximately 110–120 days against a 150-day schedule. At Meritage Homes, he managed more than 150 construction projects, with 90% delivered under budget. His commitment to quality and customer service has contributed to homeowner satisfaction scores of approximately 95% at closing.
Andres’s work has also earned industry recognition, including the 2019 Community of the Year Award with PulteGroup and the 2024 Golden Hammer Award with Meritage Homes. He holds an OSHA 10 certification and has experience with construction management platforms including Procore and BuildPro. Beyond managing his own projects, Andres has also trained and mentored other construction managers and helped implement quality improvements across construction teams.
As Lead Superintendent at Altus Construction Group, Andres brings a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to every project. He works closely with subcontractors, project leadership, and clients to maintain quality, control schedules, anticipate field challenges, and ensure that every detail meets the standards expected of an Altus project. Away from the jobsite, Andres enjoys spending time with his family and his wife, whom he recently married, and following baseball and football. For Andres, that same sense of teamwork, commitment, and accountability carries through both his personal life and his approach to construction.
